Installation of 100KWp Solar Plant: ‘An effort towards renewable energy and sustainable development’. Environmental sustainability is the most burning issue surrounding us. Sustainability refers to meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. Sustainable development is the process of improving the range of opportunities that will enable individuals and communities to achieve their aspirations with full potential over a sustained period of time.

The college has made an effort towards renewable energy sustainable development by installing a 100KWp solar power plant on 25/05/2019.

Recycling of plastic and paper waste: Making healthy choices is important, but it's not enough to counteract poor environmental conditions that affect our health. Environment has a large impact on our health and well-being, an important part of living well is doing our part to take care of the environment. Sarojoni Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya has taken an initiative to keep healthy environment by giving papers and plastic waste to ITC. By turning bottles, packaging and other plastic refuse into new goods, recycling helps the environment and creates new economic opportunities.
